1. Introduction

This is a very basic H.323 Gatekeeper. It does not do a lot yet. You can
register with it

2. Command line options

Linux

To run as a normal executable for a quick test use "opengk -xc". To run
as a daemon in the background use "opengk -dl /var/log" There are other
options for where log files go etc, and these may be shown by simply going
"opengk".

Windows 98/ME

To run as a normal executable for a quick test use "opengk debug". To run
in the background just run "opengk". To configure so it runs in the
background on reboot go "opengk install".

Windows NT/2000/XP

To run as a normal executable for a quick test use "opengk debug". You may
dp this as any user. To run in the background run "opengk install" and
"opengk start". You must be an Administrator to do this. Note that this
will permanently configure the operating system so it runs in the
background on every reboot. Use "opengk remove" to stop the service from
running in the background.

4. Configuration & Status

There is a configuration file but the user would not normally edit it.
All configuration is done through a HTTP interface using a normal
browser. Simple go to http://hostname:1719 where hostname is the ip
address or hostname of the machine running the gatekeeper.

When you try and use the Parameter or Status page a username and password
may be required. BY default the authentication feature is disabled until
you select a username and password. However, older versions used a default
value of "admin" and "secret" respectively.

If you have forgotten the password then it cannot be retrieved. You will
have to either use "opengk deinstall" to completely deinstall the system
wiping all of the configuration you may have. Or go into a Registry Editor
and remove the "Username" and "Password" field from the section:
