This is The Reinhardt Icon Set version 0.8

- This icon set has been created for use with the Reinhardt Style
  available from the kde-look site at ( www.kde-look.org ), and is a
proposal for the default Slicker icon set.
- If you wish to have the icons a different colour, this is possible by
selecting the Icons section of the Control Panel, then selecting Advanced.
Here you can set the effect used on all the icons, one of which is
Colouration. (thanks to spooq for this tip)
- All the original SVGs are included (sorted in the proper way, under
./scalable, for when KDE gets proper svg support for icons).
- If you want to use these icons, please give credit where due. They are
released under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) (available from
  www.gnu.org/copyleft ).
- The icon set is based on an original concept by Alexander Smith.

Version 0.8:
+ The total number of icons is now 845
+ Almost all icons have been changed for this version (see bellow).
+ Notably, Kontact has an almost complete set of icons now. Many other
    changes have happenes as well.
+ Changed the license to LGPL for inclusion into KDE (requirement)
+ Re-did all the svg files, so they are actually SVGs (i.e. plain SVG
    without the Sodipodi namespace)
+ The decision on a font was made, causing drastic changes in the iconset
The font is included, and is cut-and-paste, which means you open the
font in Sodipodi (or whichever) and then copy the letters from there,
and then paste them into your icon. This desicion was made because fonts
in icons are considered a Bad Move(TM) by many.
+ The index.desktop.svg file is for using SVG icons. There is a problem with
rendering some of the icons (such as the undo/redo icons ), so this is not
default. When SVG rendering matures a little further, I will make this the
default behaviour :) (I have posted Reinhardt 0.8 to bugs.kde.org as an SVG
    test case)

Version 0.7:
+ The total number of icons is now 768
+ 60 New or severely edited icons in all sections
+ New set of requested icons, and also some new KDE 3.2 icons (awaiting more
icons, as some are seemingly missing in KDE 3.2 Beta 1)

Version 0.6:
+ The total number of icons is now 707
+ New icons in actions, apps and filesystems
+ Quanta tab-bar, Moz Firebird and Moz Thunderbird amongst new icons

Version 0.5:
+ The total number of icons is now 630
+ New icons in all sections
+ Notably all protocol icons for Kopete are included (request) as well as
the KDE Mission Control for Mandrake (and others) being fully loaded now.
NB: It's not my fault the Mission Control has strange colours and has a
local copy of the Crystal Linuxconf icon that I can't change ;) )
The Loading folder icons have also been made, and also a Sodipodi icon
    (seeing as that's what I'm using ;) )
+ All icons are now re-rendered for every release.

Version 0.4:
+ Name changed to Reinhardt Icons (as this is really just a proposal)
+ Added 'On the name' section to README
+ New throbber (the old one was weird)
+ Re-rendered all the icons, as a service to all of you (and to make sure
they're actually all of equally good quality, there were still a few stale
ones left from before svg2icon.sh (and now makeiconfolder.sh) got made ;) )

Version 0.3:
+ Name change to Slicker Minimal icons
+ 126 new or changed icons, in all categories
+ Fixed stuff like the Get Mail icon (thanks in part to Chen Levy, though I
did not use his icon in the end)
+ The Control Center is now 100% populated with Slicker icons
+ Added INSTALL file, with simple, per-user installation instructions
+ Made a slight change to the icon creation guide

Version 0.2:
+ 130 new or changed icons, in various categories
+ Fixed a few things (bookmarks were wrong, now used as man)
+ Added notice about licence to README
+ Added icon-guidelines.txt (guidelines for creating more icons) to archive
Please send all icons you make to Dan at admin (ad) leinir dot dk

Version 0.1:
+ A few new app icons
+ Actualle rendered the source_*.svg icons
+ Added tgz and tar mimetypes

Programs used:
  Sodipodi ( http://sodipodi.sourceforge.net )
  ImageMagick ( http://www.imagemagick.org )

On the name:
  Ad Reinhardt, 1913-1967
Reinhardt was an American minimalist painter, who became known for his extreme
style, which also became more and more reductive from the mid 1950s, towards his
death in 1967. After 1955 he worked almost exclusively in near-black. This said,
there is in fact colour in the paintings, for example his "Abstract Painting no.
5", 1962, which can be found at the Tate Modern ( www.tate.co.uk ), is, though
seemingly black-blue, in fact squared with blue and red.
